Bachelor in Paradise’s Pieper blames the Brendan drama edition

“Bachelor in Paradise” contestant Pieper James defended herself after making a big entrance on the show by asking Brendan Morais for a date while she was dating Natasha Parker.

“Just one [sic] a gentle reminder that the reality of television is not real, “the 24-year-old Oregon native wrote in her Instagram stories.” An edited, produced and reduced program won’t show you everything you’ve said. “An edited and produced program cannot show you conversations that took place before filming with friends.”

Until Monday’s episode, James and Morais, 31, had publicly denied there was anything serious between them. However, she referred to him as her “boyfriend” in the ABC summer hit while hinting that they intended to go to “Paradise” together.

The cameras also caught the couple arguing with their Instagram followers after they first bonded in June.

“At the end of the day it’s a TV show,” he wrote. “Viewers are shown what makes the best television [with] any show. I folk [sic] what we have here is a very successful show ”.

Both James and Morais lost thousands of Instagram followers after the episode aired, and several of their co-stars claimed they were unaware of the social media-focused conversation until the rest of the world he witnessed it.

“We’re all surprised to hear what was said in this episode,” “Bachelor” season 24 contestant Tammy Ly tweeted Monday. “We can’t listen in ‘private’ convos until they are broadcast.”
