Bad Bunny leaves the WWE Royal Rumble for AIRBORNE and takes out new rivals The Miz and John Morrison

Reggaeton artist Bad Bunny had planned to perform during the pay-per-view extravaganza of the WWE Royal Rumble, but also ended up finding new rivals.

The 26-year-old rapper (really Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) performed his new song Booker T, alongside the WWE legend of the same name, at the Sunday night event held at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida , on Sunday night.

The rapper ended up coming in with two established wrestling professionals, The Miz and John Morrison, who climbed to the point where Bad Bunny executed an impressive frog splash from the top rope to take out his new rivals.

Even before the show began, The Miz and John Morrison approached Bad Bunny backstage to offer them a musical collaboration.

The Puerto Ricans turned down their offer, which infuriated the work team duo to the point that they destroyed Bad Bunny’s DJ setup before the Rumble began.

Although Bunny’s performance came out smoothly, Miz and Morrison’s actions still angered the rapper to the point that he came out during the Royal Rumble match.

Both Miz and Morrison were still alive in the Rumble match – a final standing match where the fighters are eliminated to be kicked out of the ring, when Bunny came down to express his displeasure at M&M.

While WWE referees stopped the Latin artist from cheating on the edge of the ring, his arrival was the perfect distraction for another fighter, Damian Priest, to attack.

With Miz and Morrison’s back turned, Priest sent them both above the top rope and out of the ring, removing them from the Royal Rumble, to the delight of the crowd.

As M&M was slow to get up from the elimination, Priest encouraged Bunny to head to the top rope, which he did, to the delight of the crowd.

The rapper climbed the top rope and made an impressive frog splash, pulling both Miz and Morrison out of a jump.

“I’ve heard of flying squirrels, but of flying rabbits?” exclaimed announcer Michael Cole during the PPV broadcast.

Bad Bunny’s song Booker T appeared on his new album El Último Tour Del Mundo, which was released in late November.

Booker T himself revealed on his Hall of Fame podcast in December that Bad Bunny “admired what he had done for business, for sport in general.”

“From somewhere on the water, he’s looking at Booker T and he’s digging what I’m doing, he lets me know I’ve done something right all the way from a performance perspective … I always wondered when someone would come out with a song about Booker T because he knew it was bad, but that’s kind of a seal of approval, ’he added.
