Bakers risk so much ‘certainly not’

Laughlor said after the Rodgers game, “I want to be MVP’s pre-runner,” and he could be fine. But the two-time winner didn’t even bring it up after the game, with another Super Bowl saying several times that it was very important to him.

He believes this team is more than capable of getting there because it includes everything from stellar power to valuable role players to disgusting.

“It’s not just about friendship and chemistry and the ability to deal with suffering and pointing fingers, it’s the solution, that stage,” he said. “I feel like this team has a lot of those characteristics.

“It was a weird, weird year, most of the games were devoid of fans and not on the same field, but I feel like we made the most of our opportunities. Again, I like the vibrancy of this team, the energy of the guys, and the way the guys enjoy each other and fight misery.”

The 37-year-old Rodgers has been enjoying every step of the way and is in the books with the Step 1 section title. This is what they won, but they did not.

“We were in the locker room for a moment and I somehow leaned into my locker and smiled, playing music and taking it all in with the celebrating guys,” he said. “It simply came to our notice then.

“You realize, you’m going to miss it once you’ve said it all. I’m so excited about the opportunity to be a part of this team and I’m so optimistic about what the future holds with these people.”
