Balan Wonderworld gets a one-day patch to cater for demo comments

Balance Wonderworld

In January, Switch owners were able to download a demo of Balan Wonderworld, Square Enix’s upcoming 3D platformer game directed by Sonic leader Yuji Naka. Unfortunately, despite the hype surrounding the game up to that point, the show didn’t impress exactly.

All is not lost, however, as the game’s producer, Noriyoshi Fujimoto, has detailed a first day that will aim to address some of the comments received from the players who experienced the demonstration. Here’s what Fujimoto has to say:

“By staying true to the nature of Balan Wonderworld, I would like us to follow in the footsteps of the enigmatic master, Balan, and find balance within our own hearts. Especially when it comes to addressing the comments we have. receipt of our demonstration.

There has been a wide range of opinions and responses to the demo and unfortunately at the current stage of development it is simply not feasible to reflect all the comments on the game. However, to give you all a more balanced gaming experience, we will be implementing a day-to-day for the full game.

Specifically, this patch will adjust motion controls, camera movement, and difficulty rebalancing. It’s just over a week away from launch, so I hope you enjoy the world of Wonderworld at ease!

His words come from a new blog post shared on the Square Enix website, which also provides a recap of the game’s main themes if you need an update.

“On the surface, Balan Wonderworld is a magical platform game set in 12 colorful worlds, born from the hearts of different people. In these worlds, players must make full use of more than 80 different costumes and their various skills. to overcome obstacles, puzzles and enemies and finally restore happiness back to Wonderworld “.
