The bank Santa Creu issued a statement dissociating itself from the action that took place in the evening, where agents of the National Directorate of Drug Control (DNCD) arrested two people, who, as specified by the financial institution, they were messengers who made cash transactions.
The dam took place in one of the offices located on February 27 in the city of Santiago (ORN).
The statement issued by the bank states that this entity has no connection with the fact, so it made the clarification publicly so as not to affect its institutional image.
“Banco Santa Cruz has always been characterized by its transparency and adherence to our principles and values which are in line with good practices and compliance with the rules and laws governing the Dominican financial system,” the statement added.

The Public Ministry makes it clear that prosecutors and DNCD agents went to the bank after those persecuted in Operation Falcon, without the action of the authority having anything to do with the bank.
