CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Baptist Health will launch an online appointment scheduling platform starting Friday with accommodations for 12,000 slots for those 65 and older and other high-risk people to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
A press release from Baptist Health South Florida stated that those over 65 and also members of the high-risk community will be able to book an appointment starting Friday.
The website is Baptisthealth.net.
Those who get an appointment will receive a time slot for distribution that will begin Monday.
“We hope to continue adding availability as we add additional locations in the coming weeks,” the statement said. “The light at the end of the tunnel shines a little brighter. In the meantime, we urge everyone to continue to take the appropriate security precautions as we move forward in this fight. “
