This year’s selections include tracks by Phoebe Bridgers, Bad Bunny, Waxahatchee, Megan Thee Stallion, Jeff Tweedy, Lil Baby, Lido Pepper, WizKid, Faye Webster, Gunna, Jessie Ware, J Hus and more. Like last year’s playlist, the 2020 edition includes both pop hits (“Levitating” by Dua Lipa [ft. DaBaby]) and indie favors (“Can’t Do Much” by Waxahatchee and Phoebe Bridgers, “Kyoto”), as well as the next generation of Nashville stars (“Brave” by Ruston Kelly and “Starting Over” by Chris Stapleton) at side of rogue composition veterans “Goodbye Jimmy Reed” by Boy Dylan). In August, Obama shared a summer playlist with many of the same artists.
