Bayonetta 3 is still fine and Project GG “has finally started to move”

“A lot of people are worried about Bayonetta 3”

One of the things I look forward to most during each holiday season is Famitsu’s big “year-end interview” initiative.

Typically, Famitsu uses almost all major Japanese publishers to get brief comments on its 2021 goals; some of which offer huge direct or indirect taunts. This year we have achieved a lot. Platinum Games is signing up to let us know a lot of things we already know, but overall, that’s good news.

Speaking on Platinum, famed producer Hideki Kamiya noted that while “a lot of people are worried Bayonet 3, “Verifications of new systems have gone very well and development is going very well.” Kamiya admits that this is a “copy” of previous comments, but the point still holds.

But what about their future efforts? Well, Project GG (job title) is really happening, and it’s gone from just an idea. Kamiya says the job “has finally started to move, so please wait for it.” Remember, Platinum is also being developed The fall of Babylon, and possibly some secret projects we don’t know yet.

Kamiya’s “keyword” for 2021? “Do the best I can.” He always does!
