The Chicago Bears look like a team that is in rebuild mode, as evidenced by the decision to release veteran cornerback Kyle Fuller.
Fuller was to earn $ 20 million in 2021, making him a potential victim of plugging. Chicago will save $ 11 million by parting ways with Fuller, a two-time Pro Bowler and defensive leader.
According to ESPN’s Dianna Russini, the Bears wanted to keep Fuller on the list, but asked him to take a “very significant payoff” in the process. Ultimately, Fuller prefers to try the free agent market, where he is sure to be in high demand.

Fuller signed a four-year, $ 56 million extension with the Bears in 2018, and won that contract with the best career season in 2018, where he had seven interceptions and earned All-Pro honors.
Unfortunately for CEO Ryan Pace, his past decisions, especially regarding the salary cap, have once again haunted him.
While many were left wondering who would fill the gap left by Nickelback Buster Skine, the most pressing issue has become who starts facing second-year corner Jaylon Johnson in 2021.
