Below are the CVS locations at SoCal that will offer COVID-19 vaccines starting next week

LOS ANGELES (KABC) – CVS pharmacies will soon begin offering COVID-19 vaccines across California, the company announced Tuesday.

One hundred of the company’s pharmacies, including several locations in Southern California, will administer approximately 81,900 doses starting Thursday, February 11th. You can book an appointment on February 10th.

You must be eligible to receive the vaccine under the state’s current vaccine deployment plan, which includes health care workers and people 65 and older. And you should have an appointment before you receive the dose.

Meanwhile, top state health officials have been discussing plans to change the current vaccine distribution system, suggesting that they review who will be the next group to be eligible for inoculation. However, details have not yet been released.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, California still lags behind other states in its vaccine launch.

Dr. Mark Ghaly, California’s secretary of health and human services, says the state wants to change that and respond to outrage, as the disabled state of Golden State has not yet received the vaccine.

“We will lead our vaccination effort by focusing on protecting those most at risk and those suffering the worst consequences from COVID,” he said. “Therefore, working with the disabled community, those who care for individuals with serious chronic illnesses, are beginning to energize a policy that we will announce later.”
