Biden attends Mass at DC Church, stops at the bagel shop

President Biden attended Mass the first Sunday after entering the White House, and then stopped on the way back to a popular DC bagel board.

The nation’s second Catholic president went to the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Georgetown, Washington, DC, the same church president, John F. Kennedy, who used to attend the first commander in no Catholic in the country.

Biden, 78, was accompanied by his son, Hunter, and Hunter’s two sons, Finnegan and Maisey.

Asked about the service, Biden said it was “lovely”.

On the way back to the White House, the presidential car stopped and Hunter Biden jumped to quickly run to Call Your Mother, a popular charcuterie near the church known for its bagels.

Hunter stayed at the dining window for several minutes while the president and his granddaughters stayed in the limousine.

Biden attended Mass at the Apostle St. Matthew with a contingent of Democratic and Republican congressional leaders on the morning of her inauguration and Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband.
