The Gold Star family chooses not to talk to Biden: “Everything he’s done is completely wrong”
Fallen soldier Lance CPL. Rylee McCollum was killed during the terrorist attack in Kabul last week and left her family in mourning for her sudden death.
Soldier Roice McCollum’s sister and father Jim McCollum joined “Hannity” on Thursday to express their grief and explained why they decided not to meet with the president after his hasty retirement.
“Everything he’s done is completely wrong,” Jim McCollum said. “We had opportunities to do it the right way and we failed absolutely resoundingly.”
Father Estrella d’Or admitted that he cannot blame the current administration as the war has been going on for 20 years, although “there could be no worse way” for Biden to come out definitively.
Although the hero of the McCollum family knew the mission would be dangerous, his father said Rylee McCollum was the kind of soldier who would not have given up the task he was carrying out.

Taliban and rebel forces are fighting in the Afghanistan valley, Panjshir
Rebel fighters loyal to local leader Ahmad Massoud continued their fight Thursday against the Taliban, who took power more than two weeks ago, according to a report.
Panjshir is the last province to be resisted by the Taliban government after the United States withdrew from the country.
“The enemy made multiple attempts to enter Shotul from Jabul-Saraj and failed every time,” a spokesman for the rebel grouping of the Afghan National Resistance Front (NRFA) said, according to Reuters.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said operations began “after negotiations with the local armed group failed.”
Both sides said they had caused heavy casualties.
Massoud is the son of the Mujahideen Afghan hero Ahmad Shah Massoud, who was assassinated by Al Qaeda days before the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Biden visits the wounded American troops during the departure from Afghanistan
President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden traveled Thursday night to a hospital in Bethesda, Maryland, where they visited wounded U.S. troops during their departure from Afghanistan, according to the Associated Press.
There are 15 Marines admitted to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center after last week’s suicide bombing at Kabul airport.
Eleven Marines were killed in the August 26 attack, as well as an Army soldier and a Navy corps. At least 169 Afghans were also killed.
It was the deadliest day for U.S. troops since insurgents in Afghanistan fired a U.S. Chinook helicopter in August 2011, killing 38 people, including 31 U.S. troops.
At least one of the Marines injured last week was in critical condition, while three were in serious condition, the AP reported.
