Biden weighs in on Brady against Muhammad ahead of Super Bowl LV

“I had wild dreams,” Mr. Biden said. “I didn’t have to be president. I thought I could be a winger in the NFL.”

Mr. Biden served as a receiver at Delaware High School. His coach, E. John Walsh, told The New York Times in 2008 that Mr. Biden was “one of the best pass receivers I’ve had in 16 years as a coach.” He also played freshman football at the University of Delaware.

“Obviously Brady is a great quarterback,” Biden said. “It looks like Muhammad has a lot of potential. And so I’d probably like to do a shot with the young guy I didn’t expect so much from.”

“Are you thinking Kansas City bosses can win?” O’Donnell asked.

“Well, I didn’t say that,” Mr. Biden said. “I don’t know who will win. I think they’re both great quarterbacks. One is just a younger version, potentially, of an old great quarterback. He’s not old. In terms of the NFL.”
