Bieniemy rejoices and worries his Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs began their formal field preparation heading to the super Bowl with contradictory feelings: Happy because they will have the season that their own offensive coordinator and sad for him, because they believe he already deserves to be trained in head.

Eric Bieniemy has been one of the main reasons the Chiefs are up for their second NFL championship game in consecutive years and especially the development of Patrick Muhammad, for many the best quarterback today.

“I think he could be a great coach and he deserves a chance,” Muhammad said Thursday in a press conference. “But it’s really good that he’s going to stay with us. I think he’s a great football coach.”

Muhammad is about to finish his third season as the Chiefs ’starting quarterback; while Bieniemy has been an offensive coordinator in the NFL; the three years with the same team, which has dominated the league almost to pleasure.

Since last season, when the Chiefs reached their first Super Bowl scepter in 50 years, Bieniemy has been interviewed for the position of head coach with multiple teams, including the Houston Texans, who on Wednesday night went reach an agreement with David Culley to occupy the last seat that was available.

“I’m glad he stays, but not so happy,” the head coach of the Chiefs said. Andy Reid, This Thursday. “I was really hoping he would get a chance at some of these jobs.”

One of the features that the Chiefs’ offense has had during these three years under the coordination of Bieniemy, is to adjust the system and game plan to the talent and speed of their players.

“Coach Bieniemy has helped me a lot,” said receiver Tyreek Hill, one of the fastest in the NFL and the 15 touchdowns were the second-highest number of players in his position in the recently concluded regular season. “I’m very surprised he didn’t get that job.”
