New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick released a statement on Friday about the team’s activity in the free agency market.
“We’re excited about the additions to our roster so far this year,” said head coach Bill Belichick. “Whether for trade, free agency or to re-sign, the group provides a good mix of offensive, defensive and special teams. It was great to see them in the building, including some familiar faces, and we look forward to continuing to build towards next season. ”
New England announced the signing of WR Nelson Agholor, DL Henry Anderson and Deatrich Wise, WR Kendrick Bourne, DB Cody Davis and Jalen Mills, TE Hunter Henry, LB Matt Judon, OL Ted Karras and LB Kyle Van Noy.
The team is expected to announce its other pending transactions, which include TE Jonnu Smith, DT Davon Godchaux, DE Montravius Adams, LB Raekwon McMillan, DB Justin Bethel, C David Andrews, K Nick Folk and QB Cam Newton.
