Treyarch recently began mocking his reservation Call of Duty: Black Ops, Cold War Zombie game mode next week, January 15th. At the time of the mockery we were not clear what the developer might have in store, but as of today it appears that some of this information had already been leaked.

Seen through the Microsoft Store, a free trial of Call of Duty: Black Ops, Cold War The Zombies game mode has appeared. The listing mentions that this download will be released on January 14 and will give players access for a full week. During this time period, those who want to play the full look Zombies Black Ops Cold War you will simply need to download this iteration of the game and boot it.

While this is one of the most important surprises Treyarch seems to have had for 115 days, it probably won’t be the only one. Next week will potentially bring more revelations of future content for Zombies in Black Ops Cold War, some of which may even be published next week along with this free access period.

Of course, as should be obvious, other sections of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War cannot be played by this download. So if you want to immerse your feet in the realm of multiplayer campaign for Black Ops Cold War, you will have to buy the game as usual.

Although this free trial is only available in the Microsoft Store for now, you should be able to access all of the game’s regular platforms. This includes PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC. However, I might end up making a mistake at this point, so don’t take it as an absolute truth yet.
