Ninja Theory announced today that it will no longer be updated Bleeding Edge with new content, although the game will be playable on Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC.

Bleeding Edge, a 4v4 online action game, was released on March 24 last year. Now, less than a year later, the game will no longer receive new content updates. Ninja Theory made the announcement on Twitter, explaining that it focused on other projects such as Mara and Seuna’s Saga Project. “We have decided that there will be no further content updates for Bleeding Edge.”

Another possible reason for Bleeding Edge it is no longer updated: it never found a huge audience. Although he had a diverse and interesting list of characters “Mostly positive” reviews on Steam, could not stand out from the crowd of other more popular online character action games, such as Overwatch i Paladins: Champions of the Kingdom. Our own Mike Fahey played the game and described it as “a game ready to be forgotten“.

For those who enjoy Bleeding Edge or you want to try the game, it can still be played and is part of Microsoft’s Game Pass program.
