Blue Cross could follow in Tigers’ footsteps to vaccinate Covid-19 in the United States
Blue Cross coach Juan Reynoso has acknowledged that the cement board plans to vaccinate the entire team in advance and not wait for the Mexican government, so they are considering traveling to the United States for all members to apply the doses against Covid-19.
The Machine may become the third Mexican team to seek cure against Coronavirus on American soil. Scratching did a few days ago and some elements of Tigers alike are crossing the border to apply the first dose of the two required to gain immunity.
Reynoso noted in a press conference that the team has two scenarios, so everything can be defined in the coming days. In addition, they have the chance to face MLS teams in the CONCACAF Champions League and on their journey to get the chance.
“Yes, we have thought about it. There are a couple of scenarios that we are sure we will try to meet or explore so that one or the other is the ideal scenario for getting vaccinated. I think the position we have for transfers, travel , etc. the merit and hopefully it can be achieved in stage A or B, but we have thought about it, “he declared.
This Tuesday, ESPN Digital announced that the MX League will not put any obstacles in the way of teams considering obtaining the vaccine in this way.
League MX does not have by law the possibility of having vaccines for First Division teams, as everything is handled through the government, which currently works with groups that need treatment against Covid-19, such as the case of those over 60, teachers and soon the circle of 50 to 59 years of age.
The only ones who will receive the doses are the players who will take part in the Tokyo Olympics.
In an interview for this site, Carlos Padilla, president of the Mexican Olympic Committee, said that it is estimated to vaccinate the 50 players who will be included in the preliminary list that will lead the Mexican National Team for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and not just the 18 that they would go to the championship, as discussed earlier, because of the logistics.
