Bobbie Thomas, program of the program “Today”, is updated after the death of her husband

Bobbie Thomas says her husband’s sudden death in December “still doesn’t feel real.”

The 46-year-old “Today” contributor posted her first update in months on Instagram late Wednesday and spoke through tears about what it’s been like to lose Michael Marion to her and her young son, Miles .

“In December I shared that we lost my husband, Michael. It’s very difficult to say it all out loud, “said an excited Thomas in a video. “I don’t feel real, but I’ve been lucky enough to have a little break where I can take a minute and be with Miles, family and friends. The world is trying so many things right now. ”

Thomas wrote in the title next to the video that she and Miles “are working to establish a new routine, which is difficult, but we are slowly starting to resume some of the activities that make us feel like us.”

The style expert noted that she felt “lucky enough” not to have to go back to work quickly before announcing she would resume filming segments at HSN this week.

“I wish everyone had the same luck as me,” shared one Thomas with teary eyes.

Thomas previously revealed that the death of her husband at the age of 42 was not related to a stroke she suffered in 2019 or to COVID-19.

“Michael worked hard to recover from his stroke and had made such progress that he was planning to return to work,” Thomas told “Today” in a statement.

“He landed in the hospital due to problems related to various organ systems, separated from his stroke … and not related to COVID-19.”

Thomas told his followers in an emotional Instagram post, “Take what you have right now instead of focusing on what you don’t have. One thing we all have is kindness. Absorb it, spread it, “Because in the end all that matters is love.”

Thomas and Marion, a lawyer, were married in 2013.
