Boston Celtics get Evan Fournier from Orlando Magic to choose from

The Boston Celtics are finalizing a deal to acquire Orlando Magic guard Evan Fournier for two second-round picks ahead of Thursday’s trade deadline, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Magic have already changed Nikola Vucevic and now Fournier, and offers have been entertaining for Aaron Gordon. It has been rumored that the Celtics are involved in Gordon.

Orlando will bring together significant assets Thursday and has young players Jonathan Isaac and Markelle Fultz under long-term contract.

Fournier, 28, averages a maximum of 19.7 points in his career and 3.7 assists per game this season. He is trying to get the best 7.2 triples of the race per contest and makes 38.8% of them.

During his nine-year career, he averages 14.4 points per game. It gives the Celtics a solid option to score from the bench.
