Courage by default II it may have started as a Nintendo Switch exclusive when it was released earlier this year, but now, just six months later, Square Enix has announced that the acclaimed role-playing game will hit Steam next week on September 2nd. .
While we’ve seen it with quite a few Nintendo Switch exclusives in recent times, perhaps Square Enix’s main title before this Octopath Traveler – which hit Steam in 2019. It followed the release of the same Xbox game and Xbox Game Pass in March this year.
The Steam release of Bravely Default II also marks the first time one of the most important entries in the series has been released on another platform. Before, the original game and Default brave: second layer both were exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS. Hopefully, Square Enix is likely to consider republishing these older entries on modern platforms.
