The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 the details have been revealed by Nintendo, but it appears the details may have been accidentally shared earlier than expected. Since Nintendo and Eiji Aonuma announced and revealed the game at E3 2019, we haven’t seen anything from the sequel and we haven’t heard virtually anything about the game. According to a recent leak, the game Switch and Switch Lite may be released sooner than we think, and if so, we should start seeing and hearing more about the game soon. That said, they are still crickets right now, which makes this new information even more remarkable.
The new details are paving the way for a new official Nintendo marketing brochure that is outdoors. And, according to the pamphlet, the underground location, the Cave Zone, which Link and Zelda find in the game’s revealing trailer, is actually below Hyrule Castle, which fans theorized, but so far hadn’t been confirmed.
“Finally, Link and Zelda return to the long-awaited successor to an unforgettable action-adventure The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, with series producer Eiji Aonuma promising a darker adventure this time, “read the pamphlet.” At the bottom of the caverns under Hyrule Castle, a new and powerful threat awakens. Can our brave heroes save the kingdom again? “
Unfortunately, this is where the details end. Also, while the word for a “dark adventure” and “a new and powerful awake threat” may be new to some, we actually already knew all this. That said, while new details are scarce, it’s good to have confirmation that the trailer’s location was, in fact, below Hyrule Castle.
He Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 is in development for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite and possibly the rumored Super Switch. At the time of publication, there has been no release date or even any release window, but rumors and leaks suggest it will be released sometime this year, or at least that’s the plan.
