Britney Spears is happy with their relationship.
The 39-year-old popstar announced a few days ago her engagement to actor Sam Asghari, who described her as “defeated” on Instagram. The two met in 2016 on the set of their music video “Slumber Party” and established a relationship.
Sources familiar with the relationship recently told TMZ that Spears and his friend are in no hurry to make the knot, however.
According to experts, the happy couple plans to enjoy their engagement and will take the time to plan their wedding. In fact, it seems, the word “marriage” doesn’t even appear among friends.

In that sense, the engagement took place in private at Spears ’home last weekend, with no friends.

Representatives of the happy couple did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.
The compromise reached the headlines, as it looks like Spears is advancing in his battle to end his conservatism and his father’s takeover of his life.
A representative from Forever Diamonds NY, where Asghari worked to design the Spears ring, said at the outset that on the day of the engagement announcement they received 500 inquiries about rings, 95% of which came from people who they wanted to get a hand sounds like Spears.

“I can’t believe it !!!!!!” Spears wrote on Instagram on Sunday along with a video of her showing off her awesome rock.
The next day, she revealed she was “shocked” by her friend’s proposal and said it was worth the “wait.”
“Yes, world … this handsome man in this picture is MINE !!!” he added after joking by telling Asghari a “hole”. “I’m so blessed it’s crazy !!!!”

Spears’ first husband of just 55 hours, Jason Allen Alexander, reacted to the news of her ex’s engagement during an interview with Inside Edition.

“I’ve always loved her,” Alexander says. “I will always love her. If she is happy with Sam and that will happen, I am happy for her.

He also insisted Spears is “good, mentally stable, okay” amid public concern about his mental health in recent weeks.
