According to the report of the department of police of Los Angeles County, at 2:45 p.m., a call was made by the person Brown was connected to, informing him that he might be presenting a possible kidnapping in the house of his colleague, located in marengo avenue, Pasadena.

The main suspect in the double murder is Robert Cotton, 32, who according to local media reports, is the son by Carol Brown. Cotton was arrested after he was found driving the vehicle of one of the victims.
