CLEVELAND – Nick Chubb wasted no time giving the Cleveland Browns an early lead over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
He made his way through the Pittsburgh defense (then went through Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick), to put Cleveland 7-0 up with a 47-yard touchdown.
Chubb had 61 yards in the first drive, which cost him more than 1,000 yards a season.
Chubb is the Browns’ first player to run for a touchdown of more than 40 yards against the Steelers since Jim Brown scored from 48 yards on Oct. 19, 1958, according to Elias.
The touchdown gave him 12 rush scores for the year, the most by a Browns player since Leroy Kelly had 16 in 1968.
