Over the past year, Nintendo has released several Mario games to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the mustachioed pet, but two of them:Super Mario 3D All-Stars i Super Mario Bros. 35—They will only be available until March 31. After that, both will be removed from the Nintendo Switch e-store and physical copies from Super Mario 3D All-Stars will be discontinued. No one knows if Nintendo will re-release these titles.
To Super Mario 3D All-Stars (which collects Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine i Super Mario Galaxy in a game), you can still play if you have it physically or digitally. The cartridge will always work and the digital version can be downloaded back to your Switch, even after you have removed it from the eShop. Although you will no longer be able to purchase the eShop version, you may be able to find copies in cash Super Mario 3D All-Stars online and in stores, though you might end up paying more for it. Expect new and used copies to rise in price once Nintendo stops producing.
Luckily, copies of Super Mario 3D All-Stars they have a little discount at the time of writing. Instead of the normal $ 60, Super Mario 3D All-Stars is on sale for $ 50 at Amazon, Walmart and Best Buy. We don’t know how long this sale price will last (Nintendo games rarely go on sale), so it’s best to grab a copy before supplies run out. As for the digital version, it’s still the full $ 60 in the eShop, but buying it now assures you that you won’t have to look for an excess copy later.
Unfortunately, this is not the case with free competitive multiplayer, Super Mario Bros. 35. It will be removed from the eShop on March 31 and Nintendo will shut down servers immediately. Because the game is only online, you will no longer be able to play it.
For those who haven’t tried it, Super Mario Bros. 35 gives a competitive twist to the classic NES Super Mario Bros., where players play through the original levels, but each enemy you step on is sent to another player’s game. The last player standing wins the match. It was released on October 1, 2020, so it could only be played for six months. If you’re interested in trying out the game, be sure to download and play it before March 31st.

Nintendo also launched Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury to Switch and added the original Super Mario All-Stars in the collection of free SNES games for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers for Mario’s 35th, but they will remain available after March 31st.
