Fans probably prefer the San Francisco 49ers to join Jimmy Garoppolo rather than give up significant capital for any potentially available quarterback other than Deshaun Watson. Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports noted in pre-game Super Bowl LV coverage on the network that the 49ers are among the teams “very interested” in acquiring Watson from the Houston Texans, should he be available.
“Deshaun Watson, he still wants to be out of Houston,” La Canfora said. “The Texans tell the teams, ‘We don’t market it.’ That could change for the draft. I can tell you, the 49ers, the Panthers (who are) among the teams very interested in Deshaun Watson, just like the Jets.”
Competition for Watson could increase if the Texans want to move him. It is unknown how long the 49ers, if they are really interested, would be willing to compete in a bidding war. Of course, Watson has some influence over where he potentially goes, thanks to the non-exchange clause in his contract. You should approve any destination if you can force a trade.
Speaking of the New York Jets, La Canfora feels that their quarterback, Sam Darnold, could also change, especially if Watson plays them. Would San Francisco be interested?
“Sources tell me the 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan is very high on Sam Darnold,” adds La Canfora. “If it’s a game, follow me here, the 49ers will change Jimmy Garoppolo and sources tell me Bill Belichick would love to have a Jimmy G reunion in New England.”

ESPN’s Barnwell proposes to trade three teams by sending Deshaun Watson to 49ers

ESPN’s Bill Barnwell prologued his latest version stating, “I don’t think Houston’s jeans need to change to Deshaun Watson.” The star quarterback is too good a talent to even consider getting rid of. Of course, the thought process changes when your quarterback gives a strong impression that he doesn’t feel like playing another moment. The relationship between Watson and the Texans has worsened, and many expect the three-time Pro Bowl star quarterback to look for a trade. Barnwell added: “If I wanted to leave, I would encourage Cal McNair to do whatever it takes for Watson to change what he feels. Trade should only be the absolute last resort.” Barnwell classified the place

One thing emerges from the NFL.com function that examines the possible landing points of Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson – no one has any idea how this will turn out. Seven different contributors were asked to predict the outcome of the Texans-Watson saga and resulted in six different responses. The New York Jets, chosen by Jeffri Chadiha and Marc Ross, were the only team named more than once. The other teams mentioned were the Carolina Panthers, Chicago Bears, Indianapolis Colts and Miami Dolphins. The Colts, chosen by Nate Burleson, are always an interesting option to listen to. If you’re jeans, you want to be forced to separate

Cowherd: The 49ers should be Deshaun Watson’s best option for a mile

Deshaun Watson has a no-trade clause within his contract, meaning he has the power to veto any destination the Houston jeans choose for him through a trade. Watson and the Texans disagree and the quarterback wants to leave. He is in a unique situation as, if the jeans grant his commercial application, he can dictate where he is going. Although FS1 host Colin Cowherd recently shared the reasons why he believed the 49ers might not be a good fit for Watson, he stated this week that San Francisco should be at the top of the list. quarterback landing points, and he’s not even close. “Number 1 would be San Francisco within a mile,” Cowherd said. “They are, without Deshaun Watson, the top five

Vick, in communication with Deshaun Watson, suggests the 49ers as a good fit

Deshaun Watson wants to leave Houston. The Texans say they have no plans to change their star quarterback. The situation between player and team may not be close to a resolution. Former NFL quarterback Michael Vick has been in contact with Watson and has a suggestion about a possible landing point if the Texan passerby can force a trade. Watson has some influence. The non-exchange clause of your contract allows you to approve or deny possible landing points. But first, he has to convince the brass jeans to show up in their commercial demand. “I’m going to have a conversation with [Watson] later today, “Vick told Nick Wright of FS1 while playing Colin Cowherd in The Herd.” We just talked about it a few minutes ago and we’ll talk about it, just in
