Want to spend an exorbitant amount of money on a basic wool coat because some old, gray man in a video game also sports it? Well, Capcom just has the deal for you.
Capcom recently listed one Exclusive replica of Japan of the coat Chris Redfield wears Resident Evil Village for the incredible price of 9. 159,731, or just over $ 1,500 USD. It has no buttons and comes in four sizes: medium, large, extra large, and a slightly larger “original model” that supposedly fits Chris’s game proportions. The official description also says that the “original model” looks more like the actual piece of clothing that the developers scanned in 3D in the game.
Interested parties can also purchase the coat as part of two separate collector’s edition packages that they include Resident Evil Village and other tricks like an art book, a statue of Mr. Redfield, and postcards.
All that aside … is this literally just a wool coat? A wool coat less functional than that, as you can’t even button the damn thing that closes when things get cold. I won’t go for fashion, but Chris just seems to be ready Resident Evil Village paste Macy’s premises. In fact, a simple search for “wool coat” on the store’s website offers a lot of options for much more reasonable prices.
