Car strikes pedestrians during emergencies in New York City



Several pedestrians were injured when a vehicle speeded and struck them during a demonstration Friday afternoon in New York City, officials said. A firefighter told NBC News that six more people sustained minor injuries. The clash happened just after 4pm when a senior police officer on East 39th Street and Third Avenue in Manhattan said “People march in solidarity with ICE detainees”.
