Carlos Romero Barceló’s health is “very delicate”

Melinda Romero Donnelly, daughter of the former governor of Puerto Rico, Carlos Romaní Barceló, said today, Tuesday, that her father’s state of health is delicate.

“My father’s health is very delicate after going through two processes of infection, one of which caused him sepsis which in turn affected the proper function of other organs in his body. Already overcome sepsis and not having a trace of the bacteria that affected him, we are now dealing with additional complications due to the extended stay in the hospital, “Melinda said in written statements.

She added that the former governor is in his residence, where he receives all the care necessary to recover.

“He is at home and we are devoting all the care he needs so that he can recover in this new stage. We thank all the people who have communicated to know the details of his health and have joined in prayers to our family and to the extent that they can continue to ask the Almighty for his health. “
