The authorities also signed a commitment to create postgraduate courses that will improve the quality of human resources generated through academic training.
The event was attended by the vice-rector, Sergio Pagani, of the dean of the said academic unit, Mateu Martínez, of the general secretary of the UNT, José Hugo Saab, Among other officials of the House of Higher Studies.
“For the first time, more catamarqueñas and catamarqueños will be able to follow their vocation in the medicine without having to leave their province”, Governor Khalil declared in his networks.

The rector of the UNT, José García, referred to the agreement and stated that they will provide all the support and knowledge for the implementation of the race in Catamarca.
“The aim is to extend the court and educational part. With this agreement we will accompany Catamarca in the implementation of the race so that it can train its own Catamarca doctors,” said the highest authority of the University of Tucumán.
For his part, the dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the UNT, Mateu Martínez, has maintained that “signing this agreement with the province of Catamarca is very favorable”, and said that they will visit the province again in 15 days to start seeing how the academic part of the agreement will work.
The University of Tucuman and its Medicine Faculty collaborated in the conformation of the race in different provinces throughout the last years. Martínez stressed, in this sense, that “for more than a decade we have deepened our regional policies that are an important part of our University and Faculty. We must remember that for a couple of years we have been helping to create the race in Salta and we continue to accompany this process “.
