Russian company Caviar, known for making luxury variants of popular tech devices, announced today that it will launch custom AirPods Max plated with “pure gold” for the high price of $ 108,000 sometime in 2021.

Custom AirPods Max will be available in black and white, with each color offered “in one piece worldwide,” suggesting that the headphones can be quite exclusive. In Caviar’s words, the pure gold design looks seemingly “elegant, emphasizing the status of the owners and its impeccable taste,” for people who “want to always be at the forefront.”
Caviar has recently introduced a custom iPhone 12 Pro that supposedly includes a small piece of the original circuit board of an Apple I computer, but that claim has been debated.
