This year marks 35 years of The legend of Zelda series. Nintendo has announced an HD remake of the Wii title, Skyward Sword, and launches a properly themed Switch Joy-Con, but other than that, it seems to hold up to the celebrations.
Regardless, fans celebrate the 35th edition of Link of All Kinds and join the fun and talented British composer Marcus Hedges, who has composed for games such as Century: It was from the ashes, Replacement 2 i Ary and the secret of the seasons – has assembled his own orchestrated soundtrack of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.
This album, as noted above, can be heard on Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music and various other digital music services.
Hopefully, this won’t be the last one we hear Wind Waker this year. In fact, in case you missed it, it is rumored that the 2002 classic would return later this year once the HD version of Skyward Sword is released. So what do you think of the soundtrack above? Do you bring good memories of Wind Waker to the GameCube? Leave a comment below.
