Criminal charges of first-degree murder and violation of the Weapons Act were filed today by officers assigned to the Carolina ICC Homicide Division against Juan Miguel Castillo Martínez and Jacqueline Lugo Colom, accused of murder Edmill de León García, worker at the Yess Motel in Carolina.
The events took place last Saturday, however, it was not until Sunday that the authorities managed to find the couple in a neighborhood of Hato Rei.
According to Wapa, the couple will face additional charges for attempted murder and controlled substances, after shooting at officers in the midst of the chase to capture them.
The evidence was presented before Judge Lliri González, of the Carolina Court, who determined the case and set a global bail of $ 1,050,000 to each of the defendants, which they did not lend, being admitted to criminal institutions.
Police Bargaining Commissioner Antonio López Figueroa said through social media that the overall bail for the couple was $ 4,650,000.

De León García was 26 years old and received a gunshot wound to the chest, after holding a discussion with customers about allegedly telling them that they had run out of time in the room so they had to extend or withdraw from the site.
