And Cheryl Burke apologized to Ian Ziering for the negative comments she made in 2016 about her association to the success of the competition.
During a narcissistic conversation on the Pretty Messed Up podcast with AJ McLean and Rene Elizondo Jr., the 36-year-old professional dancer tried to correct herself with mistakes from the past.

“The only thing I regret and want to fix is Ian Ziering,” he said. “I was completely offline a few years ago and did a podcast where I was asked who my favorite partner was and who I hate the most.
“And I replied to Ian Ziering, and I said something along the lines of ‘I’d rather cut my wrists than dance with Ian Ziering again.’
Cheryl partnered with Beverly Hills star 90210 for the fourth season of the popular ABC dance show in 2007.
Although they scored high during the competition, they were eventually eliminated and took fourth place.

Years after their appearance together, Cheryl said, “These are the true colors that Dancing with the Stars didn’t show … Think about spending time there, for example, eight to ten hours a day, seven days per week, for three months.
It made me want to cut my wrists. He called the executives. I was like, “Is there any way to get rid of us, please?” They’re like, “We can’t. We can’t do this.” And I swear, every time I asked, we kept going. We would last until the end. “

Cheryl was the first professional woman to win the program and also the first professional to win twice and consecutively.
He appeared in 23 DWTS seasons and won the second season with Drew Lachey, in addition to winning the mirrorball trophy the third season with Emmitt Smith.
