Verizon: The telecommunications giant’s shares rose 2% in after-hours trading after Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway revealed a large stake in Verizon. As of December 31, Berkshire Hathaway owned $ 146,716,496 of Verizon shares worth $ 8.6 billion by the end of 2020.
SolarEdge: The solar investor manufacturer’s shares gained more than 4% after posting the company’s fourth-quarter earnings results. SolarEdge earned 98 cents per share not counting revenue of $ 358.1 million. Analysts polled by FactSet expected the company to earn 66 cents a share with revenue of $ 355.5 million.
Chevron: Oil giant shares rose 2% in extended trading after Berkshire Hathaway also revealed a stake in the energy company. According to a regulatory record, the conglomerate bought more than 40 million shares of Chevron during the fourth quarter.
QuantumScape: Battery company shares gained 5% after QuantumScape released its first quarterly report since it went public in November. The company said it lost $ 2.41 per share. There were too few estimates to have a consensus on the street for the quarter. The company said in a letter to shareholders that it believes it has “sufficient funding … to fund us through the first production.”
