Chris Pratt’s camp denies he sent racist tweets in 2012 and 2013 after a couple of offensive tweets attributed to him circulated on Wednesday, as his representatives say they are fakes.

The representative of the Avengers star, 41, told TMZ that the actor did not post a couple of racially offensive messages dated in 2012 and 2013.

“Chris has never tweeted about the offensive things that are circulating today,” a representative of the actor said at the exit. “Any suggestion he made is not only totally false, but also defamatory.”

The tweets that Pratt’s camp said were fake: “Muslims scare me so much” and “calling another ************** is a hilarious idc.”

A Twitter executive said at the outset that “I firmly believe it [tweets] to be fake ”, as the alleged fake tweets were trending on Wednesday.

The Minnesota-born actor’s representative said he has never deleted an old tweet and that another referring to body image (which said “#MissUniverse So Everyone Looks Like Miss Hungry”) was authentic.

Pratt fell into controversy online last fall after being criticized by critics for not devoting more time to politics, given his platform as one of Hollywood’s top names.

Some called Pratt “the worst Chris in Hollywood,” as they pointed to his involvement in the conservative Zoe Church in Los Angeles as proof that he is secretly a fan of former President Donald Trump.

Pratt’s friends in the Marvel film universe, including Mark Ruffalo, Zoe Saldana, and Robert Downey Jr., defended his character.

Pratt’s wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, joined the conversation in response to an Instagram post about the E! as the author and 31-year-old new mother wrote in a comment: “Is this really what we need?”

“There are so many things in the world and people struggle in so many ways,” Katherine continued. “Being bad is like that yesterday. There’s enough space to love all these guys. Love is what we all don’t need, with pettiness and bullying. Let’s try.
