Chrishell Stause understands, but does not apologize, the criticism of her family’s Christmas reunion amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The 39-year-old “Selling Sunset” star addressed angry comments from fans left in a series of group photos she shared, saying she and her family had been tested for COVID-19 before. and after the celebration.
“For those who raise concerns about Covid, I understand and agree that this was not a good use of my platform. I usually always try to be socially responsible with my posts because I am naturally a compassionate person. I can see how this it doesn’t prove it to some, ”he wrote on Instagram.
Stause, whose boyfriend Keo Motsepe was also in the pictures, said his followers may not agree with the group meeting, but he hopes they can “see where I come from.”
“This is the first Christmas that without our mother it has seemed important to us to be there for each other in a tough year,” she wrote.
Stause’s mother died of cancer during the summer. Her father died in 2019.
As for Motsepe, he said, “Keo brought such a welcome happiness and, selfishly, I posted at a very happy time.”
Stause, who broke up with “This Is Us” star Justin Hartley last year, confirmed her romance with Motsepe, a “Dancing with the Stars” professional, earlier this month. She and Hartley were married for two years.
