Chrissy Teigen defended herself on social media on Sunday, saying a tweet she sent about a horse was “misinterpreted.”
Teigen, 35, has been taking riding lessons recommended by a therapist, as she and her husband John Legend face the grief of losing their baby son Jack in September, as the child was born dead as as a result of a partial abruption of the placenta.
The Sports Illustrated swimsuit student took to Twitter on Saturday with a photo of a horse said to be named Cosmo relaxing in a stable.

One Twitter user responded in response that the celebrity message seemed deaf in the midst of the ongoing coronavirus crisis, which has left many jobless and without resources.
“Many people are unemployed and struggling to feed their family in the midst of a pandemic,” the user wrote. “Maybe now is not a good time to say ‘you have nothing,’ so you bought a horse to entertain yourself.”
