Chrissy Teigen defended her new love of horseback riding after being criticized for sharing videos of her hobby amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Over the weekend, the 35-year-old model told fans she had started riding as part of her therapy after losing her pregnancy last year.
“My therapist says I need something to do for me, as I currently have absolutely nothing lol. Today begins my journey into the world of horses. I hope I like this guy. He is very handsome and looks lazy, me. ‘ love it, ”he said he tweeted on Saturday.
But one critic criticized the celebrity for saying he had “nothing” during a pandemic when a lot of people can’t even put food on the table.
“A lot of people are unemployed and struggling to feed their family in the middle of a pandemic. Maybe now isn’t a good time to say ‘you have nothing,’ so you bought a horse to entertain yourself.” tweeted criticism.
Teigen then clarified what he meant by his original tweet.
“A lot of people have really misinterpreted this tweet and I guess that’s for me,” he said he wrote. “I did not say that I have nothing, I said that I have nothing to do just for me. A conversation with a therapist. A hobby. Because I lost a baby. And I’m finding out. And I didn’t buy any horses. But, my God, what if you did? ”
When another troll responded again saying Teigen had to be “poisoned by wealth and privileges,” he said rewrote, “Why do you read this so much? boredom “.
And when the troll kept beating the model, she fired again“I get it. What do you want from me, an essay on me, thinking about you? It’s my Twitter. I’m talking about me?”
Teigen suffered a miscarriage in October 2020 after experiencing complications.
The following month, he revealed he had four weeks left over.
Teigen and her husband John Legend are the parents of 4-year-old daughter Luna and 2-year-old son Miles.
