Shortly after recovering from the typical symptoms begin to suffer problems in the limbs.

“I started to feel discomfort in my toes, then a tingling and then I started to feel numbness and severe pain in my legs,” the artist explained, saying his health continued to deteriorate until which was paralyzed.

After several medical visits, “we went to the neurologist and he tells us that he has a very advanced neuropathy, to the point that he could not walk,” Arad explained.

In addition to the paralysis, Chyno suffered painful cramps, which according to his wife occurred every 15 minutes.

One of the worst moments of his torture was when as a result of one of these ramps he fell out of bed and remained virtually immobile and had to be hospitalized and subjected to an intense physical rehabilitation regime.

“The doctor’s diagnosis was that as a result of covid-19 there was a compromise in the nervous system that turned into peripheral neuropathy. The doctor told us that the virus compromised different situations. We were told that it can happen to anyone. It is not hereditary. The covid-19 triggered in him this commitment of nervous system “, added the artist’s wife.

Chyno is currently performing coordination and balance exercises, weight training and electrostimulation exercises, as she has to stay moving and active. Doctors have assured him that he will be able to recover.

That’s why he states that “when the stages and shows open, believe me I’ll be here giving my best.”

Chyno Miranda is one of the many Latin show artists who have revealed that they became infected with the disease. The list includes J Balvin, Karol G, Prince Royce, Pablo Alborán, Camila Sodi, Antonio Banderas, Llane and many more.

However, so far only he and Mexican actor Toño Mauri, who underwent a double lung transplant this week – five months after being diagnosed with covid-19 – have been left with serious sequelae.
