Baseball is a hobby in the United States, but right now football is the king of the country.
Ciara understood Monday night’s work at the Met Gala, which had the theme “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion”.
The singer showed up at the New York ball in a lime green sequin dress, inspired by her husband, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. Ciara wore her jersey number (No. 3) and her Super Bowl XLVIII ring when Seattle beat Denver 43–8 in February 2014.
“My color woman’s Seahawks t-shirt was transformed into a dress + her Super Bowl ring XLVIII = EVERYTHING!” Ciara wrote in an Instagram post, alongside a collage of red carpet photos at the Met.
Wilson, who was not present at the annual gala, commented, “My queen. My all. ”The QB star is gearing up for the second week, when Seattle hosts Tennessee looking for a 2-0 start after beating Indianapolis on Sunday.

Ciara’s custom dress was designed by Peter Dundas and was also inspired by Geoffrey Beene’s sweater dress, a sequin design that mimicked a Minnesota Vikings t-shirt in the 1960s.
His appearance featured side cuts, exaggerated shoulders and an open back. He dressed in a classic football clutch and wore his long blond brown hair in a voluminous ponytail. Ciara’s stylist César DeLeön Ramîrez (also known as cesar4styles on Instagram) used the Paul Mitchell and The Wild Form products.

Dundas also dressed Ciara in a custom cut-out dress at the 2019 Met Gala. The emerald, ornate design included matching gloves, belt and throat, along with a feather train.
Ciara has been to the Big Apple attending other events before the Met Gala, including the MTV VMAs in Brooklyn, where she presented Normani’s sensational performance. The mother of three was stunned in a black lace dress at the awards ceremony.
