Cleveland Cavaliers ’Larry Nance Jr. will be missing 4-6 weeks with his fractured finger

Cleveland Cavaliers striker Larry Nance Jr. has a fractured finger in his left hand that will likely need surgery and will be missing in four to six weeks, sources told ESPN.

Nance, who suffered the injury from the Cavaliers ’124-99 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, has contributed significantly to the solid start to the season (10-14) of the season, standing out on the defensive side.

He is second in the NBA in steals with 1.9 per game. This season, Nance has averaged 9.3 points and 6.8 rebounds in 33.4 minutes per game.

He recently wasted time with a sprained right wrist.

The loss of Nance further slows the Cavaliers ’front track, where former All Star Kevin Love is still out while recovering from a leg injury. Love is not expected to return before the end of an upcoming five-game Western Conference road trip. The Cavaliers have lost three straight plays and the next play in Phoenix on Monday.
