CNN’s Charlie Chester says the network was coming to “propaganda” against Trump

A member of CNN admitted in a secretly recorded video that his network produced “propaganda” to oust former President Donald Trump during the 2020 presidential election and boasted of his success.

Charlie Chester, technical director of the cable network, was filmed by Project Veritas during a series of fake Tinder dates while explaining how “they were removing Trump” from office.

“It simply came to our notice then [CNN] took out Trump. I’m going to say it 100% and I think if it weren’t for CNN, I don’t know Trump would have been voted on, ”said Chester, who added that he came to work for CNN because he“ wanted to be a part of it. ”

“Our goal was to remove Trump from office, right? Without saying it, that was what it was ”.

Chester explained how they over-dramatized Trump’s health issues with the incorporation of medical experts.

“[Trump’s] the hand was shaking or whatever, I think. We brought in so many medical people to tell a whole story that they were speculating about: that they were neurologically damaged and that they were losing it. It’s not suitable for -you know- whatever. We were creating a story there that we knew nothing about. I think that’s propaganda, ”he said.

Asked by police if he and CNN were concerned about Joe Biden’s health during the election, Chester said the network had this in mind.

“Showing him jogging is obviously a deviation from his age and they are [CNN] trying to get him to say, “Oh, I’m healthy,” Chester said.

The date asked, “What do you mean?”

“We always showed him shots [Biden] jogging and that [he’s] healthy, you know, and he in aviator tones. As if you were painting him as a young geriatrician, ”Chester replied.

A source close to CNN said the Veritas Project targeted Chester through the Tinder dating app because his profile mentioned that he worked at CNN, according to Mediaite.

The Veritas Project employee, who was not identified and claimed to be a nurse, spent five days with a wire, including the last one at a cafe in the Chester neighborhood. It is unclear when the dates took place.

Chester said in his “appointment” that he would be fine if Biden died, because he believed Vice President Kamala Harris “was real.”

“I had so many arguments about, like, ‘My father would tell me,’ You’re, you know, you’re voting for Kamala Harris because he’s going to die in the presidency, ‘” Chester told the woman. “I’m fine with that. I’m fine with that. I could probably attend a board meeting, and you’d hate it as a boss, but it’s real, better than what we have regardless.”

Chester was asked if CNN covered Biden by stumbling as he climbed the stairs.

“But you talk about it briefly. You don’t make this a huge story, “he said.

CNN did not respond to requests for comment from The Post.

Biden was criticized in late summer and early fall 2020 for limiting public appearances as part of his safety precautions for the coronavirus pandemic.

He consulted with his campaign officers and participated in interviews with a studio he had built in the basement of his Wilmington home, Del.

During one of the meetings with his “appointment,” Chester talked about how CNN also addressed anti-Trump voters by focusing on climate change, adding that “fear sells.”

“I think there is a COVID fatigue. So, as always when a new story pops up, they are [CNN’s] i’m going to stick to it. They’ve already announced in our office that once the public is open, we’ll start focusing primarily on the weather, ”Chester said.

“It simply came to our notice then [CNN’s] approach. Like our approach was to get Trump out of office, right? Needless to say, that was what it was, right? So the next thing will be to raise awareness about climate change, “he added.

“How does that look?” Chester was asked.

“I don’t know. I’m not sure. I have a feeling it will be like this, constantly showing videos of ice falling and warming weather, as well as the effects it has on the economy,” Chester said.

Asked who made that decision, he said the “head of the network” was referring to Jeff Zucker.

“I imagine he has his advice and everyone has liked it, discussed it, how they think,” he said, leaving it behind.

He then said the new approach will focus on an “endemic-like story that we will defeat to the death, but that has a longevity.”

“It’s as if there is a definitive end to the pandemic. It will be reduced to a point that it is no longer a problem. Climate change can take years, so they will [CNN will] you can probably milk it quite a bit, ”he said.
