Cold War Black Ops servers go down, Activision responds

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has some server issues right now, an issue that both gamers and Activision are familiar with. As players headed to social media to lament the fact that the servers were once again having issues with Activision responding from their various support accounts to confirm that there is an outage and that the problem is being studied. Currently, server issues affect all platforms Black Ops Cold War is available on the day without indication yet when the issues will be resolved.

He Black Ops Cold War the problems started on Tuesday at around noon at the last minute, which motivated players to look for answers on social media. The Activision Assistance Twitter account that usually causes such issues has been responding in kind to acknowledge the interruption and redirect players to the server status page of various games that belong to the Activision jurisdiction. This page for Black Ops Cold War similarly, it recognizes the cut and says it affects all platforms.

“We are currently experiencing connectivity issues,” the message says on the Activision support page as of 12:31 pm PST. “This incident is being investigated.”

As with any such stop, it is not known now when the problem will be resolved, but the problems usually do not persist for too long. The same server status page that carried the previous message or the aforementioned Activision Support account will probably be the best ways to get more information as details are available on when the issues will be resolved.

In the meantime, you can become more familiar with the upcoming Call of Duty events as you wait for the servers to be back online. Most events on the horizon belong Call of Duty: Warzone instead of Black Ops Cold War, however, with the news of a Zombies crossover dominating Call of Duty communities last week or so. There is supposed to be some sort of zombie event War zone this will potentially cause a cataclysmic explosion that will alter the map, but details about this are relegated to teasers and alleged leaks, for now.
