Collins Aerospace will acquire FlightAware

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa, August 30, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Collins Aerospace, a company of Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX), has signed a definitive agreement to acquire FlightAware, a leading digital aviation company that provides global flight tracking solutions, predictive technology, analytics and capture tools of decisions.

The closing of the acquisition is subject to compliance with the usual conditions and regulatory approvals. After closing, FlightAware will join Collins Portfolio of information management services within the company’s Avionics strategic business unit. The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
