A group of Colombians denounce, in the last hours, the attack of which they were victims by several women in Staten Island, New York (United States). The reason, as César Urrego, one of those affected, told RCN Ràdio, was that the aggressors heard them speak in Spanish.

According to Urrego, “we were waiting for the bus at the exit of the Burlintong store on Staten Island, New York, when a woman arrives in a cart with two more women; my friend asks her son to go up the platform, because the lady who was driving needed to park. Out of nowhere, the carrier’s lady reacts by saying, “Don’t speak Spanish, Latin bitch”; she gets out of the car and starts attacking her and stalking to speak in another language. my friend defends her by protecting her, and she attacks me because she used my cell phone to record the event, hitting me and scratching me. “

During the incident were also attacked, verbally and physically, two minors, children of a Colombian couple. Another Colombian citizen who was at the scene attended the children, which is why he was also attacked.
