A tragic piece of news was reported in the last hours by the Boynton Beach Police (Florida, United States): they found the Colombian María Estella Gómez Mullet dead, Who had been reported missing 15 days ago.

The woman was a 45-year-old bacteriologist from Corozal (Sucre). She had two children and a couple of years ago had gone to the United States, where she worked as a caregiver for an older adult.
The latter is the mother of Roberto Colom, whom Gómez Mullet married to formalize his immigration status in this country, according to versions of his relatives.

“Today we can confirm the discovery of human remains (…) We are conducting a forensic investigation to determine the person’s identity,” was the preliminary information from the Police Department at 7:39 pm on Friday, March 5th.
Hours later, at 2:07 a.m. this Saturday, authorities reported that Roberto Colom had been arrested and charged with premeditated murder in the first degree by the death of the Colombian, the body was buried in the courtyard of the man’s house.

Columbus denied knowing his location
In an interview with a local media a few days ago, Colom had claimed to be unaware of Maria Estella’s whereabouts and even claimed that he was incapable of hurting his partner.
The Boynton Beach Police Department has lamented the sucrose facts and sent messages of condolence to his relatives and loved ones, who have yet to comment on the tragedy.
