Colton Underwood has not come out gay from Cassie Randolph

Former “bachelor” Colton Underwood has yet to speak to his ex-girlfriend Cassie Randolph about him being gay after his tumultuous breakup last year.

“I don’t know if I’ll ever get a chance to sit down and talk to her,” Underwood, 29, said Wednesday in “Nightline” in an expanded version of her interview with Robin Roberts. “I would like to. I would like to apologize for how things ended.”

After former NFL player and 25-year-old Randolph announced her separation, she accused him of harassing her and obtained a temporary restraining order against him, which has since been lifted.

Underwood admitted to “Nightline” that he “messed up” and “made a lot of bad decisions” after his breakup because he was struggling with his sexuality.

“I made mistakes at the end of this relationship and ruined the good memories we had for my actions and what I did to stay straight because I didn’t want to look in the mirror,” he said. “So that’s why I’m so, so sorry.”

The reality TV star opened up about how his struggle with his sexuality made him contemplate suicide. He also publicly apologized to Randolph for his past actions during the “GMA” part of the conversation.

“It simply came to our notice then. I loved everything about her, “he said.” I wish I had been brave enough to fix myself before breaking anyone else. “

The couple separated for the first time in August 2019, but decided to try things until they left for good in May 2020.

Randolph’s representative did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
