Compass Group launches a project to boost well-being at work

Compass Group Spain launches the Compass Wellbeing project. The goal is to help both physically and mentally all those who join the initiative by promoting a healthy lifestyle. The collective catering company, which promotes good eating habits on a daily basis, takes a step further for the comprehensive care of people in an environment marked by the increase in needs in this area due to the impact of the pandemic.

With the project, Compass Group España aims to reach the 85,000 people it serves in the newspaper Eurest, its brand specializing in the business field. To do this, it launches a “wellness web portal” which will provide content and tools to acquire positive routines both in food and to face the day differently and improve habits that allow you to lead a longer life. sana.

The first of these is a library of Yoga, Mindfulness and Meditation videos. These sessions are taught by yoga teacher Swami Shanmugananda and increase concentration to focus on both professional and personal goals.

By Marc González, Marketing and Communication Director of Compass Group España, this project “It is the result of many months of work to respond to the new needs of people at a time, moreover, in which the relevance of health care in all its facets grows and takes on a broader dimension.”

In this first stage, Compass Wellbeing also addresses the 400 residential centers in which Medirest, its brand specializing in the social and health field, serves 65,000 older adults in the newspaper. In this case, the sessions are led by yoga teacher Gauri Agulla.

The contents of Compass Wellbeing will be expanded over the coming months with specific proposals linked to gastronomy and health for both the different groups served by the company and the general public.
